Fairhaven Golf Club is widely regarded as one of the finest championship courses in the north of England. With over 125 years of history and a classic James Braid design, Fairhaven offers an exceptional golfing experience.

Rich Heritage

Founded in 1895, the club moved to its present location in 1924 where James Braid designed the championship layout. The course has been refined by Dave Thomas, Donald Steel, and Jonathan Gaunt over the decades.

Fairhaven is listed among “The Best 10 Open Championship Qualifying Courses” and features one of “Great Britain & Ireland’s Best 10 Opening Holes.”

Measuring 6,961 yards with a par of 72 and course rating of 74.4, Fairhaven presents a stern but fair test. The Muirfield-style routing, heavily bunkered fairways, and fast greens create a memorable championship experience.
